Open Alpha Development Update

🛠️ Networking Team Update:

Exciting progress this week as our team fine-tunes the state network syncing, ensuring only essential data is transmitted to clients. This was done by our team implementing a new system that tracks changes in the entity state.

This has resulted in significant reduction in the amount of data being sent over the network, improving overall game performance. In addition allows for more players to be handled per server.

Our internal stress tests have shown promising results, with over 300 entities in one spot, interacting with the player remained seamless, with no lag or animation delays in sight.

We're thrilled with these initial results and are gearing up for further testing beyond our controlled environments.

🛠️Gameplay Team Update:

Our team are continuing work on the next patch release that will come after we launch Open Alpha.

With combat improvements outlined in the last few announcements, our team is now hard at work on the next update.

Currently, we're diving into ground environment decorations, an important aspect of the game's ambiance.

This involves reviewing our tools and potential automation of generation.

Our goal is to create a denser atmosphere while maintaining optimal performance. Expect darker hues for the new grass to seamlessly blend with the ground texture.

We've also given our fishing piers a refreshing makeover!
